    Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team and play a key role in delivering high-profile electrical construction projects across Wisconsin. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in project management, field coordination, and client engagement, while working alongside seasoned professionals who are invested in your growth.

     

    You’ll be involved from pre-construction through closeout, supporting the successful execution of commercial and industrial projects—including mission-critical environments like data centers.     What You’ll Do:

    + Assist in managing electrical construction projects from planning through completion.

    + Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth execution.

    + Track and update project schedules, budgets, and change orders.

    + Review and process RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, and other project documentation.

    + Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

    + Attend job site meetings, assist with progress reporting, and support field operations.

    + Facilitate material procurement, delivery tracking, and equipment logistics.

    + Help identify and resolve project issues, communicating updates to stakeholders in a timely manner.

    What You Bring:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

    + 1–3 years of experience in electrical contracting or construction project management.

    + Solid understanding of electrical systems, construction workflows, and industry best practices.

    + Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.

    + Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite

    + Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

    + Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience working on data center projects or other mission-critical facilities.

    + OSHA 10 or 30 certification.

    + Familiarity with design-build or fast-track construction environments.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
