    We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift, operating from 3pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Thursday, and 11am to 7:30pm on Friday, at our Hatfield, PA location. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for those passionate about the environment and eager to gain experience with a growing team that has over 30 years of industry expertise.

    Responsibilities

    + Transport labeled drums of waste within the facility.

    + Detect and identify substances contained within each drum.

    + Load and offload drums onto trucks safely and efficiently.

    + Separate hazardous and non-hazardous waste and organize them in the warehouse accordingly.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or Chemistry, or one year of experience in a related industry.

    + Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + OSHA 40 Hour certification is advantageous.

    + Experience with environmental science, general labor, soil sampling, and hazardous materials handling.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is split between outdoor and indoor settings. You must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday, stand and walk over uneven surfaces for extended periods, and work outdoors in all climate conditions and indoors in non-climate-controlled conditions. Safety is a priority, and all necessary equipment for protection is provided.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hatfield, Pennsylvania.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
