Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description

Join our innovative team as a Mechanical Engineer where you will execute the design and development of complex electro-mechanical medical devices and equipment. You will be a key player in manufacturing processes, including injection molding of plastics, machining methods, and rapid prototyping techniques. Your expertise will contribute to creating detailed CAD packages, including 3D data and 2D drawings, while maintaining effective communication with program managers and team members. Your role will also involve researching and procuring sample components, developing prototypes, and ensuring compliance with medical device regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

+ Design and develop complex electro-mechanical medical devices and equipment.

+ Participate in manufacturing processes such as injection molding, machining, and rapid prototyping.

+ Create detailed CAD packages, including 3D data and 2D drawings.

+ Maintain daily communication with program managers and team members.

+ Research and procure sample components, develop prototypes, and execute testing plans.

+ Ensure compliance with medical device regulations and standards.

+ Collaborate as a mechanical engineering team member on product development programs.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

+ Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and SolidWorks.

+ Strong knowledge of medical product development.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Exceptional attention to detail.

+ Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively with prioritization skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Working knowledge of medical product development processes.

Work Environment

The position is based in a beautiful facility in Providence, providing an office environment. As part of a growing company, you will have the opportunity to work across multi-discipline product lifecycles.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Providence, Rhode Island.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
