Sonographer General & Vascular in Santa Fe, New Mexico– Join Our Imaging Team!

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a **Sonographer** in Santa Fe, New Mexico for one of our respected healthcare partners in New Mexico. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated imaging professional to perform high-quality ultrasound exams, ensure accurate diagnostics, and provide compassionate care in a collaborative medical environment.

**Location** : Santa Fe, New Mexico

**Schedule** : Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

**Pay Rate:** $32.00-42.00/hr. (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive ultrasound and vascular imaging procedures following ACR protocols.

• Communicate effectively with physicians, radiologists, and other staff to confirm exam requirements and ensure diagnostic accuracy.

• Prepare exam rooms, assist patients with gowning and positioning, and explain procedures clearly.

• Set up surgical trays and assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided needle procedures.

• Review images for completeness and pathology; ensure all documentation and worksheets are accurate and ready for radiologist review.

• Maintain equipment and exam rooms — perform daily cleaning, restocking, and assist with scheduling preventative maintenance.

• Train new sonographers on equipment, protocols, and systems as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Sonography or equivalent experience.

• Licensure/Certification:

• ARDMS registry or registry-eligible (must pass within one year of hire).

• State of New Mexico Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) License required.

• CPR Certification required.

• Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of ultrasound procedures and techniques (including Doppler and vascular).

• Working knowledge of Windows Operating System and MI software.

• Strong anatomy and physiology understanding, including cross-sectional imaging.

• Soft Skills:

• Excellent verbal communication and patient interaction skills.

• Critical thinking and ability to work independently.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain HIPAA privacy standards.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Frequent standing and mobility throughout the day.

• Ability to lift, push, and position patients for exams.

• Requires attention to detail, focus, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

• Occasional overtime, weekends, and call shifts required.

**Pay Details:** $32.00 to $42.00 per hour
