    We are hiring an IT Operations Administrator in Johnson City, TN! This is a temp-to-hire position. Hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday-Friday

    Job Description:

    Customer service-oriented IT Help Desk Technician will provide user support and customer service on company-supported computer applications and platforms.

     

    Troubleshoot problems and advise on the appropriate action.

     

    Help Desk Technician duties will maintain site equipment and materials, maintain accurate inventory records, organize and file appropriate information by creating reports using word processing, databases and spreadsheets.

     

    The site Help Desk Technician will ensure all tickets are documented in the Service Now ticket system, user issues are resolved in a timely matter, and resolution status is documented for each incident.

     

    Help Desks Technician should be familiar with supporting Windows and Mac devices and Operating Systems.

     

    The position should be able to take care of first level application and website support and questions.

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences or a related field preferred.

    + Associates Degree in Computer + Work Experience equivalent to Bachelors Degree acceptable

    Certifications/Licensing:

    + Microsoft Certification in Server 2012 or higher or proficient knowledge in these OS’s.

    + 2+ years IT Help Desk experience

    Years and Type of Experience:

    + 4-5 years of Experience within IT/Technical environment.

    + Cisco Knowledge and Certification a plus

    + IIS a plus

    Key Required Skills, Knowledge and Capabilities:

    + Excellent communication skills, especially with business and IS/IT technicians

    + Strong organizational and planning skills

    + Competency in IT service management processes

    + Competency in change management processes

    + Comprehensive experience in in project management / multi project management

    + Practical knowledge & experience of the requirements of an up-to-date IT

    **Pay Details:** $32.00 to $34.00 per hour
