    How You’ll Work

    + **Location** : Onsite (200 Republic St, Birmingham, AL 35214)

    + **Schedule** : Monday–Friday

    + **Compensation** : $48,500-$63,200 per year. A final offer amount is dependent on factors including prior relevant experience, knowledge, and location.

    + **Bonuses/Commission** : Eligible for performance-based commission.

    About the Role

    CRST’s Asset-Light (Flatbed) Division is a fast-scaling, entrepreneurial unit within one of the nation’s leading transportation companies. We specialize in flatbed, dry van, and brokerage solutions, offering unmatched flexibility, speed, and service.

     

    As a Capacity Sales Manager, you’ll source, onboard, and manage third-party carriers to move freight across dry van, flatbed, and power-only lanes. You’ll develop strong partnerships, negotiate rates, and ensure shipments run smoothly—driving both service excellence and margin performance.

    What You’ll Do

    + Source and manage carriers to meet freight demands

    + Assign carriers using CRST’s TMS and digital tools

    + Secure competitive carrier rates

    + Resolve service issues and ensure on-time delivery

    + Monitor trends and market shifts

    + Build strong partnerships with dispatchers and drivers

    + Align capacity with customer expectations

    Qualifications

    Required

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Foundational understanding of freight brokerage or logistics

    + Strong communication skills

    Preferred

    + Four-year degree or equivalent experience

    + 2–5 years in brokerage or 3PL

    + CRM/TMS experience

    + Competitive, goal-oriented mindset
