Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Mechanical Maintenance position is under the direct supervision of the Facilities Operations Manager and the Director of Support Services. The Mechanical Maintenance performs corrective and preventive maintenance on various building systems; mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, individual items and does other related work as required. Duties may include:
+ Demonstrates ability to assess/interpret age-specific data.
+ Inspect and stow compressed gas bottles for proper and safe storage
+ Stay familiar with the medical centers policies and procedures on asbestos
+ Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with televisions, beds and air system components of laundry equipment. Repair in a timely manner
+ Work with television as needed to correct television problems.
+ Accomplish all trouble calls in the call sheet without skipping calls and writing down the time the trouble call was taken, the minutes it took to troubleshoot and accomplish the call
Job Requirements
+ One (1) year of electro-mechanical experience and good knowledge of hand tools.
+ High School graduate or equivalent.
+ Must have the ability to analyze electro-mechanical problems and determine repairs needed; must have the ability to perform repairs after needs are determined.
+ Must have the versatility to fill other related positons, as applicable.
+ California Driver's License.

Pay Range
$42.77 - $53.76 /hour
