• Radiology Clerk/Scheduler

    Job Summary and Responsibilities

     

    The radiology clerk/scheduler is responsible for all Imaging Department examinations and requires the ability to explain all types of exams to the patients. Radiology clerk duties also include registering and confirming appointments, general filing of reports, records, requisitions, and departmental inquiries. Experience in scheduling and admitting required, and knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT helpful. Radiology clerk/scheduler must have basic understanding of computers, since this is the general mode of scheduling, reporting, and pulling information.

    Job Requirements

    + Previous experience in a medical setting, preferably in radiology setting.

    + Experience in Admitting scheduling required.

    + Good interpersonal skills a must.

    + Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9 and CPT preferred.

    + Knowledge of alphabetical and numerical filing systems. Familiar with office machines, computers, etc.

    Pay Range

    $24.67 - $29.49 /hour
