Power BI Developer

CGI is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join its dynamic team in Reno, NV. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards that transform data into actionable insights. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts.

You will join one of our Nevada Account Team and work in a highly collaborative environment to provide expertise in designing, developing reports and dashboards to enhance the quality of IT products and services. This position is located in our Reno, NV office.

Your future duties and responsibilities

How you'll make an impact

Key Responsibilities:

. Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

. Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

. Connect to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.) and ensure data integrity.

. Optimize Power BI data models for performance and scalability.

. Implement data governance best practices.

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.

. Provide support and training to client support on Power BI tools and reports.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

What you'll bring

. 5+ years of experience working with report development on IT projects

. At least 3 years of that experience must have been spent on analysis and development of reports using Power BI.

. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required

. Experience with Snowflake Data Platform

. Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

. Familiarity with Jira.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $61,900.00 - $137,100.00.
