Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead operations in our natural stone warehouse. This hands-on role involves overseeing receiving, inventory control, and distribution processes while ensuring safety, efficiency, and team productivity. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to warehouse management.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

+ Oversee all warehouse activities including receiving, inventory handling, and shipping.

+ Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with suppliers and transportation partners.

+ Optimize warehouse layout and product flow to maximize efficiency.

+ Ensure accurate labeling, staging, and loading of materials.

+ Operate and supervise the use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts.

Inventory Control

+ Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.

+ Inspect incoming materials and maintain detailed records.

+ Manage damage claims and collaborate with purchasing and customer service teams.

+ Work closely with logistics to minimize stockouts and monitor key performance indicators.

Team Management

+ Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse and showroom staff.

+ Set performance goals, provide coaching, and foster a collaborative work environment.

+ Promote accountability and continuous improvement across the team.

Safety & Compliance

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant warehouse.

+ Enforce safety protocols and ensure proper equipment certification and usage.

Logistics & Coordination

+ Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate shipments.

Equipment & Facility Oversight

+ Manage maintenance schedules for warehouse equipment and infrastructure.

Customer & Supplier Relations

+ Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and transportation providers.

Qualifications:

+ Minimum 3 years of warehouse management experience preferred.

+ Experience in natural stone, tile, or building materials is a plus.

+ Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

+ Proficiency in inventory control and shipping/receiving operations.

+ Familiarity with natural stone specifications and handling.

+ Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.

+ Forklift operation experience required.

+ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

+ Self-motivated with a focus on continuous improvement.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.29 - $32.69/hr.
