Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an Assembler, where you will play a key role in fabricating pipe joining components, fittings, and valves. This position requires assembling parts according to blueprints, akin to building with LEGO pieces but with precision and adherence to specifications. Your work will involve cutting and grooving pipes, forming and pressing gaskets, and logging data into computer systems to track progress.
Responsibilities
+ Read and interpret blueprints to assemble pipe joining components accurately.
+ Cut and groove pipes to precise specifications.
+ Form and press gaskets as needed.
+ Log data into computer systems to update project progress.
+ Ensure assembled products meet quality standards through inspection.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of assembly experience.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints.
+ Mechanical knowledge.
+ Experience with hand tools and power tools.
+ Familiarity with mechanical assembly, including valves.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with pipe joining and connectors.
+ High energy and strong work ethic.
+ Experience in pipe grooving and cutting.

Work Environment
Work in a clean manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled but equipped with large fans. The facility includes both assembly/fabrication and warehouse distribution areas, with approximately 12 shop employees. Enjoy a collaborative workspace with diverse skillsets among colleagues, including CNC machinists, QC Technicians, Manufacturing Trainers, Assemblers, and Machine Operators. Standard hours are 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with potential for overtime and weekend work based on project demands. Dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, work shirt, safety glasses, and a high visibility vest.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stafford, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
