    Job Title: Food Service Worker

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated individual to work in a hospital kitchen. This hospital serves over 700 guests daily, and the ideal candidate will bring experience from fast-paced restaurant environments. You will work in an isolated area and must follow directions well.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare and cook large batches of food.

    + Ensure excellent customer service, remaining sensitive to patient situations.

    + Lift up to 50lbs and push up to 100lbs as needed.

    + Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.

    Essential Skills

    + 1.5+ years of experience in large batch cooking.

    + 1.5+ years of food preparation experience.

    + Ability to provide excellent customer service.

    + Physical capability to lift 50lbs and push 100lbs.

     

    Work Environment

     

    You will be working in a hospital cafeteria, where appearance and hygiene are of utmost importance. The culture is professional with no facial piercings, covered tattoos, and no heavy fragrances. Work attire includes black work pants, non-slip shoes, and a hospital t-shirt. On the first day, a black or white collared shirt is required. The work schedule is Monday to Friday with rotating weekends, and an 8-hour shift that falls between 5 AM and 9 PM.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.10 - $15.10/hr.
