Job Description

Responsibilities

+ Operate and maintain machinery to ensure efficient production processes.

+ Move materials and products using a forklift to and from production and sorting areas.

+ Assist in sorting and packaging batteries, ensuring correct identification, separation, and packaging of different battery types and components.

+ Conduct quality checks on products and materials, reporting any defects or equipment issues to a supervisor.

+ Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area and equipment.

Essential Skills

+ General production experience.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools.

+ Experience in machine operation.

+ Experience in shipping and receiving processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in construction or general labor is advantageous.

+ Ability to follow safety and environmental regulations.

Work Environment

Work in a battery recycling facility where safety and environmental regulations are strictly followed. The role involves operating machinery, handling materials, and maintaining a clean and orderly work area. Employees are expected to adhere to the facility's safety protocols and dress code.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
