Job Title: HVAC/R PM Technician
Job Description
As an HVAC/R PM Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining HVAC/R equipment, troubleshooting heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Your role will involve diagnosing malfunctions, determining repair needs, and inspecting systems for defective parts to ensure proper functioning.
Responsibilities
+ Maintain HVAC/R equipment effectively.
+ Troubleshoot heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
+ Diagnose malfunctions and determine repair needs.
+ Inspect and perform tests on systems and equipment for defective parts.
+ Ensure proper functioning of all equipment.
Essential Skills
+ A valid driver's license with a clean record.
+ 5+ years of experience in service work on HVAC/R equipment within industrial/commercial construction.
+ Refrigerant certification card and EPA certification (at least Type II) or be in the process of obtaining them.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ On-call experience.
+ Experience in plumbing and electrical work.
+ Field service and preventive maintenance knowledge.
+ Ability to read schematics and blueprints.

Work Environment
Work in new construction and service environments for commercial, industrial, institutional, agricultural, and food service settings around the Grand Rapids, MI area, including Holland to Muskegon, Greenville, and Kalamazoo. This role may involve independent work, group environments, or training apprentices. The work schedule is typically a first shift with a workweek of approximately 45 hours. Once experienced, you will be on call for one week every 6-8 weeks. You will receive a company vehicle once fully trained. Personal protective equipment such as boots, hard hats, and safety glasses is required. The job involves climbing ladders or stairs while carrying tools, lifting up to 100 lbs., extended periods of walking, exposure to weather conditions, operating motor vehicles, and handling power or hand tools.

This is a Permanent position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00/yr.
