Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Filler Rebuild Level
Pay: $21-25
Job Description
This position offers a unique opportunity to grow within the Maintenance department. The role involves skilled work across multiple trades in maintenance, facilities, and construction. The successful candidate will perform tasks to inspect, repair, and maintain machinery, building, and equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the operations.
Responsibilities
+ Rebuild and maintain all filler pumps for Paint fill.
+ Keep pump rebuild area neat and clean and ensure all parts inventory is maintained.
+ Analyze and make recommendations to improve uptime on fill units.
+ Maintain PM schedule on individual pumps and pump fill units.
+ Assist in the inspection, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment.
+ Assist skilled maintenance workers in a variety of tasks including conduit installation, conveyor repairs, and preventive maintenance.
+ Move and carry heavy materials such as pipe, lumber, gravel, sand, or furniture.
+ Support preventive maintenance programs related to infrastructure equipment and safety concerns, including roof leak detection and pressure washing.
+ Perform routine mechanical repairs on filler units.
+ Complete tasks as part of the overall PM program, including lubricating, oiling, painting, cleaning, and repairing machines and parts.
+ Assist in testing electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC controls and replace components as needed.
+ Develop and present training sessions for the department related to equipment operations and best practices.
+ Utilize computerized maintenance management systems for work assignments and feedback entry.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with rebuilding, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment.
+ Knowledge of conveyors and bottling machinery.
+ Proficiency in mechanical and electrical skills.
+ Familiarity with metal fabrication.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to determine best methods and procedures for maintenance repairs.
+ Capability to make troubleshooting and repair recommendations.
+ Resourcefulness in solving non-recurring problems.

Work Environment
The majority of the work is conducted in a warehouse/distribution center. The daily attire includes work khakis and a clean, appropriate t-shirt. Personal protective equipment such as steel-toed boots, ear plugs, and safety glasses are required. The team size is 18, and the shift hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime due to ongoing projects.

This is a Contract position based out of Decatur, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
