    Job Title: Driver/Shop Helper

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver/Shop Helper to join our team. This role involves loading and unloading deliveries at the shop, organizing materials, and delivering products to clients. Approximately 60% of the time will be spent driving a transit van. In addition to driving, the candidate will learn about saw operations and blade cleaning to prepare products for delivery.

    Responsibilities

    + Load and unload deliveries at the shop.

    + Organize and put away materials.

    + Deliver products to clients, primarily driving a transit van.

    + Learn and operate saws for cleaning and preparing products.

    + Ensure all deliveries are made efficiently and safely.

    + Maintain a clean driving record.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 2 years driving/delivering experience.

    + Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

    + Clean driving record with no more than 3 points.

    + Mechanical inclination with experience using hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with UPS or Amazon delivery services is advantageous.

    Work Environment

     

    The role primarily involves road work with some time spent in a clean, albeit non-temperature-controlled, shop environment. The position offers a consistent first shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM, providing a structured workweek.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Canton, Michigan.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $39520.00/yr.
