Job Title: Stamping Press Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Stamping Press Operator for the second shift. This role involves setting up and operating a press while ensuring the quality of parts produced. The operator will work with steel coils, stamping them out into precise parts. This is a direct placement opportunity.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and start the machine independently.
+ Load and adjust steel coils.
+ Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
+ Bend and load coils into the die.
+ Operate cranes as needed.
+ Follow power lockout procedures.
Essential Skills
+ 1-2 years of experience in Press Brake operation.
+ Background in manufacturing metal stamping.
+ Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges for inspection.
+ Ability to troubleshoot minor issues and determine when maintenance is needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with the ERP system, Plex.
+ Hilo driving experience.

Work Environment
Work on the second shift from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential for Saturday shifts. Training is provided for Hilo driving, and you will use the ERP system Plex. The dress code is suitable for a manufacturing environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Plymouth, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41496.00 - $41496.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Plymouth,MI.
