    Job Title: Cleanroom Technician- 3rd shift

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Cleanroom Technician where you will engage in daily production and packaging activities in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all related standard operating procedures (SOPs). You will work towards achieving production goals and handling unscheduled peaks in workload to ensure timely product release and prevent back orders. Collaboration with the Team Leader and other team members will be crucial to detail critical raw materials, in-process procedures, and specifications. You will also perform in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finish products, and maintain accurate records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct daily production and packaging activities in compliance with GMP and SOPs.

    + Achieve assigned production goals and manage unscheduled workload peaks.

    + Collaborate with Team Leader to detail critical raw materials and specifications.

    + Identify and report corrective actions for technical issues related to raw materials and finished products.

    + Perform in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished products.

    + Address line issues and other production problems, notifying Team Leader of required corrective actions.

    + Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with GDP and SOPs.

    + Utilize computerized Materials Resource Planning (MRP) inventory system for reporting lot controlled ingredients on batch records.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with cleanroom operations and understanding of GDP and SOP in a manufacturing environment.

    + Ability to provide detailed examples of SOP application in previous roles.

    + Knowledge of machine operation, multitasking, quality assurance, packaging, and inspection.

    + Proficiency in computer operation and familiarity with manufacturing acronyms.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + At least two years of previous assembly/packaging experience.

    + Experience in a regulated medical device manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment is preferred.

    + Ability to understand coagulation-based manufacturing processes.

    + Familiarity with GDP, GMP, GLP, FDA, and ISO.

    + Knowledge of qualification and validation trials is a plus.

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and large ERP systems is preferred.

    Work Environment

     

    The position offers two openings for Technical Operator 1 in the TEM Department with a schedule from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM, including a 15% shift differential. Training will be completed on the 2nd shift with a 10% differential, transitioning to a 15% pay increase on the 3rd shift. The work environment requires adherence to specific dress codes, such as wearing pants, no makeup or lipstick, and wearing side shields on glasses. The environment can be loud, and ear protection is provided. Use of headphones and cell phones is prohibited on the manufacturing floor. Overtime may be required, with some being voluntary and some mandatory, based on position.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $20.63/hr.
