    Description

    Patricia Wesson with Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to support a well-respected client in a long-term contract role. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with deep expertise in tax regulations, particularly for S-Corps and partnerships, and a strong command of tax software and financial analysis.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Prepare and file individual and partnership tax returns with precision and timeliness.

    + Utilize CCH ProSystem Fx for tax processing and reporting.

    + Apply advanced knowledge of S-Corp and partnership tax regulations.

    + Maintain accurate customer records and resolve tax-related inquiries.

    + Monitor tax accounts and ensure compliance with current laws.

    + Identify potential tax credits and liabilities to optimize returns.

    + Collaborate with internal teams to streamline tax workflows.

    + Stay current on evolving tax laws and industry standards.

     

    Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

    + CPA or EA designation highly preferred.

    + Minimum 5 years of experience in tax accounting.

    + Proficiency in CCH ProSystem Fx and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).

    + Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
