    Accounting Clerk – Manufacturing Environment

    Robert Half is working with a leading manufacturing company in Rancho Dominguez, CA, that is seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Accounting Clerk. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a full range of accounting operations in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions accurately and efficiently

    + Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to maintain financial accuracy

    + Prepare and post journal entries to keep accounting records current

    + Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures

    + Maintain and organize financial records and supporting documentation

    + Support the Controller and broader accounting team with daily and special projects

    + Use accounting systems such as QuickBooks to enter and manage financial data

    + Assist with invoice processing, payment schedules, and data entry tasks

    + Perform basic administrative functions related to finance and accounting

    Qualifications:

    + 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred

    + Prior experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environment is a plus

    + Familiarity with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel

    + Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

    + Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting

    + Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn

    + Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred

    Requirements • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in accounting, including internships or similar roles.

     

    • Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks is advantageous.

    • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.

    • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities.

    • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

    • An associate’s degree or coursework in accounting is preferred but not mandatory.
