Description
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner responsible for supporting supervisors by creating work orders, scheduling PMs, communicating with management and techs, purchasing parts and using MROs, scheduling out projects, and communicating with vendors to some degree. You'll be responsible for planning daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules. Must have mechanical aptitude, knowledge, or experience of some kind and be able to independently and effectively manage your own time.
Job duties include, but not limited to:
- Regularly work with management to figure out best PM schedules and work orders
- Order parts for maintenance by communicating with outside vendors
- Communicate with maintenance personnel, supervisors, and managers to understand what parts are needed
- Monitor maintenance schedules to ensure parts are ready for necessary maintenance calls
- Participate in morning meeting/safety huddles
Flexible Hours:
- 1st shift: 6am-3pm or 7am-4pm
Must Have:
- 2+ years of maintenance planning or scheduling experience
- Mechanical aptitude, knowledge, or experience of some kind - to understand the maintenance and planning connection
- Understanding of how maintenance and maintenance departments work
- Ability to independently and effectively manage your own time
- Comfortable working a majority of the day on computers and technology
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $52000.00/yr.
