    Job Title: Forklift Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. This role involves operating a stand-up forklift, assisting in the loading and unloading of kegs, and managing inventory using advanced systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment and be solution-oriented to ensure efficient operations in our warehouse.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in unloading and loading of kegs (new and used) when trucks arrive.

    + Operate a stand-up forklift and manage inventory with an RF Scanner and WMS/SAP systems.

    + Receive bin numbers and locate beer pallets in the refrigerated area.

    + Load and unload shipping trucks efficiently.

    + Prepare packages for shipping.

    + Maintain a clean and organized warehouse during downtime.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with stand-up forklifts.

    + Proficient in using RF Scanners and WMS/SAP systems.

    + Ability to lift cases up to 35lbs and maneuver kegs up to 170lbs.

    + Basic computer skills.

    + A minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous food and beverage experience preferred.

    + Forklift experience preferred (will certify on site).

    + Must be at least 21 years old to work onsite.

    Work Environment

     

    Our facility is climate controlled, with occasional access to refrigerated areas for product retrieval. The position operates on a 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday, or a 3rd shift from 11:30 PM to 7 AM, Sunday through Thursday. The work location is in Richmond, VA.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr.
