    Description

    We’re seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team and help drive critical business decisions through expert financial insights. This role requires a combination of technical accounting expertise, exceptional analytical skills, and advanced software proficiency to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment.

    Technical Accounting Expertise:

    + Financial Statement Preparation: Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant accounting standards.

    + Journal Entries & Reconciliations: Perform general ledger account analysis, reconcile discrepancies, and make necessary adjusting entries.

    + Month-End/Year-End Close Processes: Manage close cycles, prioritize critical tasks, and adhere to corporate timelines while ensuring compliance.

    + Fixed Asset Accounting: Handle asset tracking and depreciation calculations to ensure proper recording and reporting.

    Data Analysis & Reporting:

    + Prepare financial models and perform variance analysis to provide insights into company performance.

    + Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning by leveraging advanced analytical techniques.

    Requirements

    Technical Accounting Expertise:

    + Excel Proficiency: Advanced capabilities with Excel tools, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling, to manage data analysis and reporting tasks efficiently.

    + Business Intelligence Tools: Competence in utilizing BI platforms like Power BI and Tableau for creating impactful visualizations, generating in-depth reports, and supporting key business decisions.

    + Accounting Systems: Proven experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite to streamline accounting processes and enhance data accuracy.

     

    Industry Knowledge

     

    + GAAP Expertise: In-depth understanding of U.S. GAAP principles, financial regulations, and auditing standards; experience applying these frameworks within accounting operations across multiple industries.

    + CPA Credentials: CPA certified or actively pursuing certification, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining industry-recognized qualifications and achieving excellence in financial expertise.

     

    Effective Leadership & Communication

     

    + Problem-Solving Skills: Proactively identifies issues, analyzes data, and implements well-thought-out solutions to support business goals and resolve financial challenges.

    + Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with deadlines to avoid operational risks.

    + Communication Skills: Capable of translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for a diverse range of stakeholders, from executives to non-financial teams.
