    Job Description

    Join our team as a Warehouse/Driver, where you will play a vital role in ensuring timely delivery and pick-up of merchandise. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and professionalism while providing excellent customer service.

    Responsibilities

    + Deliver or pick up merchandise to or from customers and suppliers in a prompt, efficient, and professional manner.

    + Ensure every delivery is signed for with a legible signature and every pick-up is authorized.

    + Report any mechanical problems with the company truck to the Shipping Clerk or Warehouse Manager.

    + Maintain overall safety of the vehicle during operation.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle with a driving record meeting company standards.

    + Capable of moving easily around job sites.

    + Perform daily inspection and maintenance on company vehicles.

    + Communicate vehicle mechanical problems effectively.

    + Work efficiently in extreme heat or cold conditions.

    + Lift heavy boxes (minimum of 70 lbs.) from warehouse shelves.

    + Operate materials handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

    + Read maps and plan delivery truck routes.

    + Count bundles, boxes, reels, coils, and pallets accurately.

    + Communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Customer service oriented with at least 1 year of warehouse environment experience.

    + Transport and driving skills with a clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the last 3 years and no DUI within the last 10 years).

    + At least 21 years old and able to pass a DOT physical.

    + Good at math with above-average cognitive ability.

    + Comfortable lifting 40 lbs. above head and willing to work in the warehouse when not driving.

    + Willingness to be trained and certified on forklift.

    + Available for full-time work Monday through Friday.

    Work Environment

     

    The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30am/7am to 5pm. The position requires passing a DOT Physical and a background check. The role is based in a dynamic warehouse setting with emphasis on safety and team collaboration.

    This is a Contract position based out of Antioch, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
