    Job Title:** **Quality Inspector

     

    Anoka, MN 55303

     

    Pay Range:** **$23.00–$30.00/hour

    Shifts Available:

    + 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Mon–Fri, occasional Saturdays)

    + 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM (Mon–Fri, occasional Saturdays)

    + 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 8:30 AM (Sun night–Fri, occasional Saturdays)

    + Weekend Shift: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Fri–Sun)

    Job Description:

    The Quality Inspector will perform in-process inspections of sheet metal parts. Responsibilities include:

     

    + Inspecting welds, punched holes, angles, and bend allowances

    + Comparing parts to blueprints to ensure they meet specifications

    + Documenting inspection findings accurately

    Required Skills:

    + Experience with calipers, micrometers, and blueprint reading

    + quality inspection within a manufacturing environment

    + Familiarity with sheet metal inspection, including welds, bends, and holes

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum 2 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing setting

    + Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts

    + Sheet metal inspection experience preferred

    Work Environment:

    + Clean, large-scale facility with three buildings

    + Not air-conditioned

    + Smoke-free campus (no designated smoking areas)

    + Assembly line and production setting

    Additional Information:

    + Mandatory overtime may be required, with advance notice

    + Sunday work is voluntary and paid at double time if preceded by six consecutive workdays

    + PPE required: steel-toed boots, eye and ear protection

    + No physical exam, medical clearance, certifications, or forklift operation required

    Growth Opportunity:

    + 50¢ raise after 90 days with good performance and attendance

    + Eligible for CORE program at 90 days, allowing application for permanent roles

    + Company-sponsored education available post-hire for advancement in welding or engineering

    Interview Process:

    + On-site interview includes a plant tour

    + Candidates will be asked about comfort with grinding, assembly line work, and overtime

    + Must show motivation, interest in long-term growth, and be prepared with question

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
