    Job Title: Laser Operator

     

    Shift Time: 12:00PM-10PM (Mon-Thursday)

     

    Pay $24-27/hr

    Job Summary

    Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join their team on 2nd shift. This role involves operating and programming Mitsubishi Laser machines, as well as supporting other departments through cross-training. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and eager to learn multiple aspects of the production process.

    Key Responsibilities

    _Laser Operations_

    + Set up, operate, and program Mitsubishi Laser cutting machines

    + Nest parts efficiently for production

    + Load towers and monitor cut conditions to ensure quality output

    _Cross-Training and Departmental Support_

    + Assist in brake press, punch press, welding, grinding, and shipping/receiving

    + Load and unload materials from trucks

    + Stage materials for various departments

    _Maintenance and Housekeeping_

    + Wipe down machinery to maintain cleanliness and safety

    + Remove scrap from scrap collectors and ensure proper disposal

    Qualifications

    + 3+ years experience with laser cutting equipment

    + Willingness to cross-train in multiple departments

    + Ability to lift heavy and move materials safely

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
