Job Title: Low Voltage Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled **Low Voltage Electrician** to join our team and support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cabling, access control, security systems, and data connections in commercial or industrial settings.

Responsibilities

+ Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling for voice, data, video, and security systems

+ Set up and maintain access control systems, CCTV cameras, and alarm systems

+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to guide installations

+ Troubleshoot and repair low voltage systems and components

+ Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on installed systems

+ Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety standards, and client specifications

+ Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites to coordinate system integration

+ Label and document all cabling and connections for future reference and maintenance

+ Use hand and power tools to mount, secure, and connect devices and hardware

Essential Skills

+ At least 4 years of electrical experience.

+ Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

+ Ability to work in commercial and industrial settings.

+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams.

+ Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

+ Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
