Job Title: Picker and Packer

Join our dynamic team as a Picker and Packer, where you'll play a crucial role in selecting and preparing orders for shipment. Your keen attention to detail and ability to lift heavy items will be essential as you build pallets and ensure the quality of produce meets our high standards.

Responsibilities

+ Follow paper pick tickets to select orders throughout the warehouse.

+ Build pallets of orders with attention to quality and detail.

+ Consistently lift 50-70 lbs as part of daily tasks.

+ Complete additional tasks such as sanitation, housekeeping, and receiving.

+ Participate in training for EPJ and other MHE, though not initially operating them.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in order picking, packing, and order selecting.

+ Ability to palletize and handle shipping tasks.

+ Proficiency in quality inspection and inventory management.

+ Familiarity with RF scanners and electric pallet jacks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Background in food and cold warehouse environments.

+ Experience in shipping and receiving.

+ Previous picking experience in a warehouse setting.

Work Environment

Work in a cold storage produce distribution warehouse, operating Monday through Friday from 4:30 pm to 10 pm/1 am, depending on when the job is completed. Fridays are mandatory due to high demand, but you can enjoy weekends off. Minimal overtime is expected at the start, with potential increases as the distribution center becomes busier. Dress appropriately for cold temperatures, as the environment ranges from 33°F to 55°F.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
