Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining a variety of mechanical and electrical components on laminators, wrappers, presses, ink, and slitting machines. These machines create flexible packaging solutions for well-known brands such as Oreos, baking soda, Tide, Honey Maid, and Ritz crackers.
Responsibilities
+ Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical components including swapping out blades, changing bearings, bolts, shafts, and hoses/pumps.
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems such as PLC systems, single/3 phase motors, fuses, relays, and cabinets ranging from 480v to 120v.
+ Maintain basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and other facility systems.
+ Conduct troubleshooting and repairs for hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
+ Ensure adherence to GMP maintenance practices.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics and pneumatics.
+ Experience in mechanical repair and preventive maintenance.
+ Ability to perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
+ Familiarity with schematic readings and PLC troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in a GMP environment is beneficial.
+ Previous schooling and experience in similar roles.
+ Background in printing or experience from Quad is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment is warm in summer and in certain areas. It is a GMP environment for packaging with three shifts available: 1st shift from 6am-2pm (M-F), 2nd shift from 2pm-10pm (M-F) with a $2 premium, and 3rd shift from 10pm-6am (S-T) with a $2 premium. Locker rooms are available for both genders.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $35.00/hr.
