Job Title: Painter Helper
Job Description
Join a dynamic team in the manufacturing of Industrial Power Systems within a heavy-industrial facility. As a Painter Helper, you will be responsible for hanging metal parts and pieces on the paint line, working with sheet metal, and loading and unloading materials. This role requires the ability to lift metal pieces weighing up to 75 pounds and adhere to safety protocols by wearing steel-toe shoes.
Responsibilities
+ Hang metal parts on the paint line.
+ Load and unload sheet metal materials.
+ Perform touch-ups in the paint booth.
+ Engage in powder coating processes.
+ Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in production work, heavy lifting, and warehouse operations.
+ Experience in manufacturing and mechanical assembly.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and reading blueprints.
+ Ability to stand for the entire shift and lift over 50 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction labor.
+ Familiarity with sheet metal and powder coating processes.

Work Environment
This role is set in a large, open bay production facility with multiple workstations. Although the production floor is not climate-controlled, it is equipped with industrial-sized ceiling fans to maintain airflow. Safety is prioritized, with required use of safety shoes, glasses, and ear protection in the louder areas around CNC machinery and fabrication stations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.50/hr.
