Job Title: Mechanical & Robotics Technician
Job Description
As a Mechanical & Robotics Technician, you will leverage your expertise to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the facility. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, while also mentoring junior technicians to help them grow in their roles.
Responsibilities
+ Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures.
+ Complete preventive maintenance routines with proper documentation.
+ Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
+ Maintain positive working relationships across the entire operations facility.
+ Track and store department inventory.
+ Move up to 49 pounds and stand or walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
+ Travel up to 20% as needed.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
+ 1 year of experience with PC competency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associate's or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
+ 2 years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
+ 2 years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment.
+ 2 years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
+ 1 year of metal and wood fabrication.
+ 1 year of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
+ 1 year of knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
+ Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.
+ Project Management experience.
+ Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance.
+ Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.

Work Environment
You will work in a large distribution facility equipped with high-speed, automated, and mostly robotic components. Be prepared to walk approximately 10,000 steps per day and work in shifts that can vary. Candidates must be open to working any 10-hour shift, as positions are available across all shifts. The schedule includes Sunday to Wednesday from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, although training may differ. Performance will be tracked by data and numbers, ensuring you meet expectations in a non-micromanaged environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
