    Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines. You will work primarily with Mori Siekis and Doosans, utilizing precision measuring tools and blueprints daily.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.

    + Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges to check parts.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and G and M codes.

    + Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.

    + Visually inspect parts to ensure they conform to standards and customer requirements.

    + Inspect tooling for wear and damage.

    + Safely operate equipment and record production daily.

    + Load and unload machines properly and safely.

    + Identify and isolate non-conforming products.

    + Assist the team leader and Set-Up Tech with basic setup and teardown.

    + Maintain a near-zero scrap rate throughout the run cycle.

    + Make machine offset adjustments as needed to maintain control.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of CNC operating experience.

    + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, G and M codes.

    + Experience with CNC mills and lathes.

    + Knowledge of GD&T and machine operation.

    + Ability to communicate and understand work instructions in English.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 30 pounds.

    + Ability to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms for 8 hours or more.

    + Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and self-motivation.

    + Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Mastercam, and Oku systems.

    + Ability to troubleshoot and adjust tolerances.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in a large company with multiple buildings, focusing on operating in one building set up in cells, managing more than one machine at a time. The dress code includes jeans and a work shirt.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $48860.00 - $58510.00/yr.
