    Job Title: General Laborer - Construction

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to support the rough carpentry and self-perform division at a hospital construction site. This position requires a commitment to quality and safety, with a focus on assisting in various general labor tasks and minor rough carpentry duties.

     

    **Shift:** 7:00am to 3:30pm

    **Pay:** 18-21/hr

    Responsibilities

    + Perform general labor tasks on the construction site.

    + Assist with minor rough carpentry, including setting up temporary window protection.

    + Utilize hand and power tools effectively and safely.

    + Maintain cleanliness and organization on the job site.

    + Collaborate with team members and other trades on site to ensure project efficiency.

    Essential Skills

    + A minimum of 3 years of commercial construction experience.

    + Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

    + Experience in reading and working from blueprints.

    + Possession of OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in healthcare construction is a benefit.

    + Scissor Lift and Fall Protection Certifications are advantageous.

    + Ability to measure accurately with a tape measure.

    + Experience with commercial carpentry and concrete work.

    Work Environment

     

    Work on-site at a hospital construction area, where conditions vary with the weather. Engage in a collaborative environment with other subcontractors and trades. Dress appropriately for a construction setting, with personal protective equipment (PPE) required. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm, guaranteeing 40 hours per week.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cocoa Beach, Florida.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
