Job Title: Automation Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Technician where you will work on a night shift, from 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM, on a rotating schedule. You will be responsible for troubleshooting assembly equipment within the automation department, utilizing a multimeter to troubleshoot circuits and sensors to identify faults. The role involves working with 3 phase/480 V equipment and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), where you will replace, transfer data, and edit settings. You will use computers to track all work orders and preventive maintenance tasks. The position requires pneumatic system troubleshooting and repair, as well as proactive communication with production and operations for machine fixes. The work takes place in a clean room environment.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot assembly equipment within the automation department.

+ Utilize a multimeter to troubleshoot circuits and sensors to find faults.

+ Work with 3 phase/480 V equipment and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).

+ Replace, transfer data, and edit settings within VFDs.

+ Track all work orders and preventive maintenance tasks using computers.

+ Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic air systems and lines.

+ Communicate proactively with production and operations for machine fixes.

Essential Skills

+ Electrical troubleshooting experience.

+ Proficiency in working with pneumatics.

+ Ability to troubleshoot circuits and sensors.

+ Experience with assembly equipment.

+ Familiarity with voltmeters.

+ Strong documentation skills.

Work Environment

This position requires working on a night shift from 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM, with a rotating schedule that includes working every other weekend. The schedule alternates between three days one week and four days the next, offering four days off every other week. The role is a direct placement with a pay range of $28-$32 per hour and involves working in a clean room environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $66560.00/yr.
