    Job Description

    Join our team as a MIG Welder, where you will be responsible for welding various types of steel and alloys. This includes working with materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and black steel, primarily focusing on thinner gauges up to 1/8" thick. You may or not be workign within fixtures and welding the materials together. Some parts or products will be fitted, assembled and welded together using welding blocks and pipe/tube clamps.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform MIG welding on various types of steel and alloys.

    + Work with materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and black steel.

    + Focus on welding thinner gauges up to 1/8" thick.

    + Follow welding blueprints for accurate assembly.

    + Move welding fixtures into the welding bay, requiring heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.

    Essential Skills

    + 1 year of recent experience or equivalent schooling in MIG welding.

    + Ability to read welding blueprints with proficiency.

    + Capability to read a tape measure to 1/32" accuracy.

    + Physical ability to lift 50 lbs without restrictions.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 2-year Welding Degree is a plus.

    + Experience in pipe welding is advantageous.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
