Job Title: Welder and Fabricator

Pay $18-24 an hour

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator to join our team. This full-time position operates on a shift from 6am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, with optional overtime available. The role requires a combination of welding and fabrication expertise, along with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams for precise welds.

Responsibilities

+ Perform MIG welding and fabrication tasks.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to ensure precise welds.

+ Weld in multiple positions, including overhead, flat, horizontal, and vertical.

+ Fabricate components as needed.

+ Weld on A36 carbon steel.

+ Accurately read a tape measure and take precise measurements.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in MIG welding and fabrication.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.

+ Experience welding in multiple positions.

+ Skill in working with A36 carbon steel.

+ Strong measurement skills using a tape measure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience performing fabrication processes.

+ Experience welding on carbon steel is a plus.

+ Demonstrated strong tenure throughout work history.

+ Willingness to work in a non-climate controlled environment.

Work Environment

Work in an indoor/outdoor environment that is industrial, hot, and can be dirty. The shop is non-climate controlled, adding to the dynamic and challenging work setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakeland, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
