    Industrial Maintenance Technician

     

    Pay: $25–$30/hr + $3/hr weekend shift differential

     

    Shift: Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:30 PM

     

    Overtime: Available

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Omaha, NE. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of our production and assembly equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and repair.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production line equipment.

    + Set up, change over, and troubleshoot machinery with minimal downtime.

    + Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.

    + Maintain accurate documentation and records of maintenance activities.

    + Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out.

    + Keep maintenance areas and equipment cabinets clean and organized.

    + Communicate effectively with production and maintenance teams.

    + Support continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability and efficiency.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills & Experience

    + Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.

    + Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

    + Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.

    + Familiarity with motor controls, VFDs, servo drives, and PLCs.

    + Experience using diagnostic testing equipment.

    + Understanding of electrical circuits up to 460V.

    + Intermediate computer skills and ability to document work accurately.

    + Strong reading, writing, and math skills.

    + Ability to work independently and maintain reliable attendance.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Advanced mechanical/electrical aptitude.

    + Experience with automation controls and PLC programming.

    + Ability to make quality control decisions and use metric measurement tools.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
