    Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

    Job Description

    A Shipping and Receiving Clerk performs various tasks related to setting up and operating equipment in a battery recycling facility, ensuring high-quality product output and proper maintenance. This role involves operating machinery, maintaining equipment, cleaning work areas, and following safety protocols. Additionally, it includes moving finished products with forklifts and complying with environmental and safety regulations.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate machinery and ensure its proper maintenance to support high-quality product output.

    + Maintain equipment and clean work areas to uphold cleanliness and safety standards.

    + Move materials and products using a forklift to and from production and sorting areas.

    + Assist with the identification, separation, and packaging of different types of batteries and their components into correct containers.

    + Inspect products and materials to ensure they meet quality standards and report any defects or equipment issues to a supervisor.

    + Comply with all environmental and safety regulations within the facility.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in general production and machine operation.

    + Ability to handle materials and use hand tools effectively.

    + Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in general labor, construction, or related fields.

    + Ability to operate a forklift for moving materials.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
