Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting all equipment, conducting regular repairs, and completing preventative maintenance as required. This role requires a skilled mechanic with knowledge of both mechanical and electrical equipment. You will need to troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including advanced PLC problems using computer software such as AB RS logics. You will also support maintenance projects, including new equipment installations and rebuilds, and demonstrate advanced fabrication skills, including sanitary welding.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot and repair all production equipment, both mechanical and electrical.

+ Troubleshoot advanced PLC problems using computer software, including AB RS logics.

+ Support maintenance projects, including new equipment installations and rebuilds.

+ Demonstrate advanced fabrication skills, including sanitary welding.

+ Communicate intelligently with OEMs, contractors, and other outside vendors regarding plant production equipment and infrastructure.

+ Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, ammonia, and wastewater breakdowns as applicable.

+ Lead maintenance technicians in the absence of the maintenance lead or supervisor.

Essential Skills

+ Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.

+ Knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair.

+ Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting.

+ Experience with preventive maintenance.

+ Mechanical repair and maintenance skills.

+ Pneumatic experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Food manufacturing experience is a plus.

+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50876.00 - $69243.00/yr.

PTO, health, vision and dental insurance. Life insurance. Short and long term disability.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in South Beloit,IL.
