Job Title: Production Worker in Donora, PA

Job Description

As a production worker, you will work on an assembly line with three other individuals. Your main tasks will include placing bags on the line and ensuring that the automated machine properly packages and wraps rock salt. You will also assist in wrapping pallets to prepare them for shipment. The role requires standing for long periods while on the production line.

Responsibilities

+ Place bags on the assembly line for automated packaging.

+ Monitor the automated machine to ensure proper packaging and wrapping of rock salt.

+ Assist in wrapping pallets for shipment preparation.

+ Operate a forklift to move packaged salt around the facility, requiring at least one year of experience.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production, assembly, warehouse work, and general labor.

+ Ability to lift 40-50lbs routinely.

+ Capability to stand for extended periods on the assembly line.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Two years of general labor experience in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is indoors but features an open bay, which can lead to cold conditions in the winter and hot conditions in the summer. The facility is dusty with calcium flake particles, which may not be suitable for individuals with calcium flake allergies.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Donora, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $1550.00/hr.
