    Maintenance Mechanic

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining steam boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, and automation equipment and machinery. The role also involves facilities maintenance, including HVAC units and performing some electrical work, such as one/three-phase wiring, PLCs, and handling 120 to 480 volts. The job is approximately 70% mechanical and 30% electrical, and includes performing required preventative maintenance and daily inspections to ensure all equipment is in optimal condition.

    Must Haves

    + 5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience.

    + 3+ years of experience in the food and beverage or high-speed manufacturing industry.

    + 2+ years of electrical experience.

    + Experience with HVAC, facilities, boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, and automation equipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain steam boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, and automation equipment.

    + Perform facilities maintenance, including HVAC units and electrical work.

    + Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment.

    + Perform daily inspections and repair equipment as needed.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair.

    + Experience with PLCs, one/three-phase wiring, and handling 120 to 480 volts.

    + Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and reading blueprints.

    Work Environment

     

    The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with the first shift from 6 am to 2 pm. Flexibility is required to rotate shifts and cover the 2nd, 3rd shifts, and weekends as needed.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Missouri City, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
