Job Description
Operate various pieces of equipment within a food production facility such as packaging machines, baggers, rollers, and more. Responsibilities include proper machine set-up, troubleshooting, monitoring quality and speed, housekeeping, and sanitation. This role generally includes responsibility for operating one or more pieces of packaging production equipment, including Texwrap, ADCO, and Tiromat.
Responsibilities
+ Operate and manage various pieces of packaging production equipment.
+ Ensure proper machine set-up and perform troubleshooting as needed.
+ Monitor the quality and speed of the production process.
+ Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards within the facility.
+ Adhere to all GMP requirements including wearing hair nets, beard nets, and refraining from wearing jewelry.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of machine operating experience at the same company.
+ 2+ years of packaging operating experience.
+ 1+ year of GMP experience.
+ Ability to be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2+ years of food manufacturing machine operator experience.
+ 2+ years of GMP knowledge.
+ Knowledge of forklift operation.

Work Environment
This position operates on the 1st Shift from 6am to 3:30pm, working six days a week, typically including Saturdays and sometimes Sundays. The facility employs upwards of 700 people and operates under strict GMP guidelines. Dress code includes hair nets, beard nets, and no jewelry.
