Job Title: Brazing Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Brazing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting schematic drawings, diagrams, and blueprints to determine material requirements and assembly instructions. You will assemble chillers and heat exchangers efficiently while troubleshooting design and assembly issues in collaboration with engineering.
Responsibilities
+ Interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, and blueprints to determine material requirements and assembly instructions.
+ Assemble chillers and heat exchangers per drawings and technical data.
+ Troubleshoot design and assembly issues and collaborate with engineering to correct them.
+ Perform copper brazing on industrial equipment.
+ Maintain paint inventory and material usage logs.
+ Position and align components for assembly.
+ Rework, repair, or replace damaged parts or assemblies.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
+ Proficiency in interpreting schematics and blueprints.
+ A minimum of 2 years of experience in brazing/soldering copper efficiently without leaks.
+ 2 years of experience in bending pipes.
+ Ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
+ Basic knowledge of refrigeration.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with mechanical assembly and hand tools.
+ Familiarity with HVAC systems and general labor tasks.

Work Environment
This position operates on the first shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The work environment becomes unionized after a 6-month period.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.68 - $23.74/hr.
