Job Title: Lead Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Maintenance Mechanic for a 1st shift position to manage and execute hands-on maintenance tasks. This role involves supervising a team of 10+ individuals while performing mechanical and electrical support and troubleshooting for an automated material handling system in a 700,000 sq. ft. distribution center.
Responsibilities
+ Provide mechanical and electrical support, troubleshooting automated material handling system components.
+ Delegate workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
+ Create and complete production and maintenance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
+ Perform mechanical and lubrication tasks on automated material handling equipment, including belt installation, bolt and tension roll adjustment, straightening parts, aligning rollers, and replacing defective parts.
+ Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance and repairs on equipment such as pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, electronic and electrical equipment according to safety and quality procedures.
+ Formulate preventative maintenance standards and work procedures, providing feedback on discrepancies noted in service delivery.
+ Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, automated conveyor systems, and key facility components including automated putwall, HighJump, PandA components, and Intelligrated conveyor systems.
+ Utilize various tools and instruments to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on conveying systems as per established standards.
+ Provide daily support to the operations team.
Essential Skills
+ Strong experience with conveyors and troubleshooting.
+ Experience leading a team of 10 or more people.
+ CMM Certification with experience using Maintenance Connection.
+ 5+ years of hands-on leadership experience.
+ Advanced PC skills, including Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Certified 5S experience.
+ Sortation experience.
+ Knowledge and experience with Shrink Tunnel repair and troubleshooting.
+ PLC knowledge is a plus.
+ Knowledge of hand/power tools, precision alignment, rigging, welding, blueprints, and preventive/predictive/corrective maintenance.

Work Environment
This position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 7am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. The role requires frequent bending, lifting, walking, pushing/pulling, crawling, twisting, reaching, kneeling, stooping, and standing for long periods, occasionally in extreme temperatures. You will report to the Lead Maintenance Technician and Facilities Manager.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
