Description

We are in the process of recruiting a Bookkeeper for our client, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The role primarily involves working with the financial software QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable and receivables

• Regularly maintaining and updating customer and vendor information

• Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient order processing and fulfillment

• Handling customer inquiries, issues, and sales support as necessary

• Invoicing customers according to their individual account schedules

• Running state tax reports and maintaining tax exemption certificates

• Correcting any errors that arise in relation to Vendor/Delivery

• Actively managing past dues by generating accounts receivable reports and coordinating with sales team for follow-ups

• Undertaking light cleaning tasks as part of shared responsibilities with team members

• Answering phone calls as required.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required

• Must have a solid grasp of Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Demonstrated experience in Bookkeeping is mandatory

• Must possess strong Data Entry skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must

• Experience with QuickBooks is highly desirable
