Job Title: Machine Operator Assistant

Job Description

This position involves monitoring production runs and orders through the molding machines while ensuring quality and maintaining cleanliness in the Main Molding and Polycams areas.

Responsibilities

+ Attend up to five presses based on production schedules and manufacturing requirements.

+ Check all molded products hourly for defects and report any issues to the Team Leader/Processor or, if unavailable, the Quality and Shift Supervisor.

+ Grind runners and check cappers for runners.

+ Clean tracks, bowls, conveyors, and upright conveyors as necessary.

+ Hygrade product for defects and perform quality checks.

+ Complete labeling, place on boxes, and ensure rejected and accepted products are separated.

+ Operate and monitor grinders and presses to ensure product is manufactured according to specifications, schedules, and deadlines.

+ Maintain a neat and orderly work area, keeping walkways and aisles clear.

+ Perform general housekeeping duties such as sweeping and trash removal.

+ Frequently lift/move up to 35 lbs. and perform standing, walking, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching motions.

This is a Contract position based out of Slatersville, Rhode Island.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
