Job Title: Brake Operator
Job Description
Join our growing team as a Brake Operator where you will play a crucial role in our sheet metal fabrication process. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring the quality of produced parts, and performing routine setups.
Responsibilities
+ Load and unload tools based on the setup sheet.
+ Operate machine control and perform maintenance and secondary operations during production.
+ Execute simple or routine setups where fixtures and tooling are prepared by others.
+ Notify machine set-up personnel if complex tooling or machine adjustments are needed.
+ Operate the computer console as required.
+ Verify the quality of produced parts using simple measurement tools.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with brake, machine operation, and press setup.
+ Ability to operate press brake models RG-50, RG-80, HRB, and FBD.
+ Machine setup experience and CNC experience with computer consoles.
+ Ability to form parts based on work instructions, sheet metal, metal fabrication, and blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school education or equivalent specialized training.
+ Minimum one year of related experience or education.
+ Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment
Our facility is a dynamic sheet metal manufacturing shop featuring a small but growing team. With the Spokane site being new, you'll have the opportunity to get in early and grow with us as we expand to over 60 people. The environment includes welders, powder coaters, brake operators, and quality inspectors, providing a collaborative and engaging workplace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.68/hr.
