Job Title: Concrete Laborer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team for an exciting new project involving the pouring of flatwork & foundations for new construction buildings. This role involves assisting the leadman with various tasks, such as bringing forms, wheelbarrowing concrete, and tearing down forms.
Responsibilities
+ Assist the leadman in bringing forms and setting up for concrete pouring.
+ Wheelbarrow concrete to designated areas on the construction site.
+ Tear down forms after concrete has set.
+ Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of concrete experience.
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools such as a trowel and wheelbarrow.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Possession of basic tools, including a hammer and tape measure.
+ Experience as a concrete finisher is a plus, but not required.
Work Environment
This position operates primarily on a construction site. It requires physical labor and the handling of heavy materials. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an outdoor environment and adhering to safety protocols.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $40.00/hr.
