    Job Title: Punch Press Machine Operator

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Punch Press Machine Operator. You will set up and operate CNC Press Brakes, including models such as Amada and Cincinnati. While programming is not required, you will engage in sheet metal fabrication, operating press brakes, punch brakes, and bending of sheet metal. There is potential to operate additional machinery, including the person and laser machines, contributing to our production goals.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate CNC Press Brake (Amada, Cincinnati).

    + Engage in sheet metal fabrication and forming.

    + Operate various machines including press brakes and punch presses.

    + Read and interpret blueprints, specification sheets, and work orders.

    + Layout and load materials using basic math and measuring tools.

    + Maintain machines in good working order and perform lock out/tag out procedures.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment.

    + Experience in metalworking or hollow metal fabrication preferred.

    + Proficiency with CNC manufacturing equipment.

    + Dexterity with basic power tools and machinery.

    + Ability to utilize computer output from CAD/CAM systems.

    + Capability to set up mills and lathes.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Understanding of finished product characteristics.

    + Knowledge of re-work procedures.

    + Ability to enter instructions including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches.

    Work Environment

     

    This role operates on the 2nd shift, from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Candidates are encouraged to view provided videos to gain insight into our work environment. The setting is fast-paced and collaborative, ensuring you are part of a team dedicated to high-quality production.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fontana, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
