Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Job Description

As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a critical role in disassembling, reassembling, relocating, and upgrading machinery within industrial plants. Your expertise will be pivotal in installing production lines and conveyor systems for manufacturing environments. Additionally, you will engage in fabricating and welding steel using MIG and STICK techniques.

Responsibilities

+ Disassemble and reassemble machinery in industrial plants.

+ Relocate and upgrade machinery as required.

+ Install production lines and conveyor systems in manufacturing plants.

+ Fabricate and weld steel using MIG and STICK techniques.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ years in any construction skillset or welding/mechanically inclined position.

+ Experience with machine installation and conveyor systems.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools.

+ Ability to read blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High School diploma or GED.

+ Valid driver’s license.

+ 1+ years in a construction or installation environment.

+ Preferred ability to stick weld.

Work Environment

You will work at various industrial job sites around the Lima, OH area, engaging in hands-on tasks that require a mechanical aptitude and a thorough understanding of construction and maintenance processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lima, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
